34. Mr. A H Nel (DA) to ask the
Minister for Agriculture and Land Affairs:
(1) How will the amount of R100 million
that has been earmarked for the finalisation of the Ebenezer land
claim be utilised;
(2) whether the funds are intended
for the purchase of land; if not, what other land development in
Ebenezer will be funded; if so, what procedure will be followed
should the funds be used for the purchase of land;
(3) whether additional funds will
be made available to the Ebenezer community; if not, why not; if
so, how will it be utilised;
(4) whether the Ebenezer land claim
is considered to be finalised through the R100 million being made
available; if not, what is the position in this regard; if so, what
are the relevant details;
(5) whether it is meant that all
the land under the claim will be purchased for the community or
that only land to the value of R100 million will be purchased?
